Case Study - Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A.
Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. is headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The firm's 100+ attorneys provide legal services in a variety of areas throughout Florida. The firm requested Andrew Z. Adkins III, director of the Legal Technology Institute to assist with realizing their technology vision by conducting an analysis of their computing environment and preparing a Request for Proposal for system integration services.
Mr. Adkins worked with the firm's Technology Committee,
helping to determine the vision, recognize the current limitations
and restraints of the existing environment and to provide
recommendations for a computing platform. Mr. Adkins also chaired
a vendor's conference and vendor presentations to provide
the firm with a face-to-face meeting with the various proposers.
With Mr. Adkins' assistance, the firm selected a systems integrator
to provide the necessary hardware and software, training
and integration services.
