The Legal Technology Institute provides independent technology consulting services to the legal profession, including private law firms, corporate and government legal departments, government agencies, courts and administrators, law schools, legal services organizations, and legal verticals. Our mission is to assist our clients with technology issues, long-range goals and implementation to help improve their delivery of legal services to their clients. Case Study - Miami-Dade County Law Library
The Miami-Dade County Law Library is located in Miami, Florida in the Dade County Courthouse. Andrew Z. Adkins III, director of the Legal Technology Institute was retained for several projects. Mr. Adkins assisted the law library with recruiting an Executive Director. Mr. Adkins also evaluated the current technology and prepared a list of technology requirements and specifications for the library to improve services to its patrons. Lastly, Mr. Adkins assisted the library in developing specifications and selection of a library management system.
Mr. Adkins worked with the Miami-Dade County Law
Library Board of Trustees, the Executive Director, and County
IT Services provide recommendations for increasing the use
